Boston is a place where lacks of tourists visits every year. It has many attractive destinations as every place has. But over the year it has developed such an unusual destination which is unique in its own sense although such spots of any place, people usually avoid visiting but not in Boston.
It is Mount Auburn Cemetery, located in the 580, Mount Auburn street, to my surprise is a must visit tourist spot. It has also chosen as a National Historic landmark. This place has some wonderful designed landscapes. Its 5,000 trees, representing 630 species, this serene place loved by everyone the gardeners can enjoy its extensive array of landscaping chic, of old days to modern.
In this cemetery, fine artists and sculptors are allowed to showcase their piece of art work. That is why this place has become an ultimate place to enjoy art, the Binney Monument; the delicate monument employs classical and the Hunt Monument, Christian images like as a laurel-wreathed male soul ascending to heaven and a widow in mourning garb etc.
This year it has celebrated the 175th anniversary, along with progression of ceremonies, art exhibition, programs and lectures. It is open to all tourists regardless of their cast and creed.
