Costa Cruises has made a special agreement with SKY to offer guests on all Costa Cruises ships the chance to watch every World Cup 2006 match and it dose’nt matter where they are on the seas, guests will be able to watch every game live from Germany.



This is most important event of the year and cannot be missed, even if it clashes with the all important summer holiday.For the first time, the World Cup will be broadcast by SKY on pay-per-view only and Costa Cruises has signed a deal with SKY on all 11 ships in the fleet.



In fact, the Costa Cruises liner Costa Concordia will be embarking on her maiden voyage on 9th July 2006, the day of the World Cup Final! If you are one of the people lucky enough to be on board the Costa Concordia, the largest ship in Italian seafaring, you will be able to enjoy every moment of life.



The pool area is fitted with a 3500 sq.mt retractable glass roof so you are guaranteed optimum viewing conditions no matter what the weather is like on the day! The Costa Concordia weighs in at 112,000 gross tonnage, while she is some 290 metres in length and 36 metres in breadth. 13 decks, 1500 cabins, including 505 veranda cabins and 70 suites. 13 bars, 4 restaurants in Italian style!
