Albin and Melanie Ulle had been married for just more than a year when they found themselves on a second honeymoon. Selected from more than 900 couples, they were chosen to plan a 14-week whirlwind journey to more than 13 countries.

The couple along with a crew of eight from the cable channel spent time in the foreign locale and the off beaten path, all documented for a 13-episode series 1,000 Places to See Before You Die.

Each hour-long episode takes viewers to one of 13 amazing locations including: Peru, Alaska, British Columbia, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, France, Italy, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Australia and Hawaii.

Airing: 9 p.m. Thursday, Travel Channel.

HD: Discovery HD Theater Fridays at 8 p.m., starting April 6.
