It is said that Beauty lies in the eyes of a beholder and this very common adage has struck the mind of Jonathan Jones, an art and architecture blogger for The Guardian.
Jonathan has compiled a list of 50 utmost art works, ever done in the arena of art and architecture. Intellectual cyber-community assisted him to pick-up these most prestigious gems of art.
Jonathan said, ‘We now have a definitive list of the 50 works that demand to seen at least once in a lifetime.’
He further added that you are lucky enough if these masterpieces exist near you.
Undoubtedly, the list compiled by Mr. Jonathan is admirable because it consist of the artwork of pre-historic era, medieval art to contemporary architecture. To some extent, art lovers have forgotten some of these paragons of art and it can be a good attempt to revive these magnificent works. However, it would be an exaggeration if we say that this is the ever-best analysis of art. But, at least this is a good effort indeed.
