I have always fantasized about living in an igloo, an even better residence is a hotel carved out of ice. ICEHOTEL situated in the village Jukkasjarvi, 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden is just the answer.

Amazingly the bricks of this river are borrowed from a river. The ice of ICEHOTEL is borrowed each year. It can be the base camp for numerous outdoor sports of the arctic pole .

These include- Safari, Arctic trail, Saab ice driving, Ice fishing, Wilderness courses and hunting courses (I personally would never want to go for hunting).

Also you get to see some excellent specimens of ice sculpturing. So get yourself an ignoo treat . And if you feel too cold you could shift to a warmer accommodation.
