Now U.S. and Bahamians citizens are required to fulfill new visa formalities to visit by air and sea travel. This decision was taken by American Embassy in Bahama. Newly elected U.S. council general to Bahamas,Turks and Caicos, Virginia Sher Ramadan was interacting with media persons in Grand Bahama. From the 1st of November onwards, hand written visa application will not be accepted and applicants will have to fill apply online. The form can be available at http://evisaforms.state.gov/, travel.state.gov or the U.S. embassy website at nassau.usembassy.gov.
A few utmost instructions are given below:
• The printed online visa application will have a bar code and accessed to U.S. Embassy in New Providence.
• Applicant obtaining age of 14 must present himself before the interview board of the embassy officials.
• All American citizens traveling to the United States from The Bahamas are required to have a U.S. passport till 8th of January,2007.
