Which is the most polite city? The Reader Digest magazine did a survey , in which they covered 36 cities in 35 countries.



In the survey, reporters took three tests on over 2000 unaware participants, in which they recorded - if participants keep the door open for others, whether a sales person says ‘thank you’ to customers and whether people like to help in picking dropped items.



New Yorkers passed all the ‘politeness-police’ tests with flying colors and London, Toronto and Moscow people are left behind.
