Watching the Canadian side (also called horseshoe) is most likely a lifelong experience. With a height of 54 metres (177ft), the Crestline is estimated to be 675 metres (2200ft) wide.

Surprisingly, the depth of the river at the base of the falls is actually higher than the falls itself. While the American Falls, at 56 metres (184ft) high, Crestline is 328 metres (1075 ft) wide, culminates its beauty in nights as it decorated with various combinations of colored lights.

It was once in a history when people crossed Niagara Falls on their feet as the flow of water was clogged completely over both falls on March 29 th 1848 due to mini-icebergs flowing downstream from Lake Erie caused the flow in the upper river to block for several hours.

For some, it looks most beautiful in winter, when the surroundings are covered in snow and the waters turn to ice. You can feed on this spectacular scene either from Prospect Point Observation Tower or from the area at its base where the water rushes past.
