Refreshingly Sri Lanka, an ambitious event to promote the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Industry of Sri Lanka in London has been announced to arrange by the Sri Lankan High Commissioner.



The event intends to depict the West how valuable and diverse the history and culture of Shri Lanka is. The program is a series of events going for two weeks from the fifteenth to 25 June.



The striking features of the Refreshingly Sri Lanka are:



(1) Traditional Sri Lankan dancing and drumming

(2) Photographic and art exhibitions

(3) Handicraft demonstrations

(4) Demonstrations of Aryurvedic Treatments

(5) Sri Lankan Food and world renowned Tea

(6) A feast of traditional Sri Lankan dishes at the Royal Garden Hotel.

(7) A two-week celebration of Sri Lankan literature.

(8) A comprehensive collection of Sinhala Films will be screened as a part of this event
