lnav_imagegif_62Business travelers are giving preference to Europe rather than America because of the severe security measure imposed by US on international travelers which makes difficult to obtain visa. These stringent security rules were not imposed on world travelers but now American administration has coerced new rules on its own citizens. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has made it mandatory that one will have to take permission before leaving or entering the country, everyone on a no-fly lists, unless the government allows to re-enter in U.S., will come into effect on Jan. 14, 2007.

A report issued by Euromonitor International on the world travel market 2006 reveals that US has lost 10 percent business arrivals during the period of 2004-2005, while in the same period Europe witnessed 8 percent growth and number reached to 84 million.

On the contrary, United Nations World Tourism Organization’s (UNWTO) report that was likely to be unveiled on Monday is expected to show that 2006 is the third year in a row providing sustained growth for the tourism industry.
