
Tibet and each day from Chengdu in Sichuan and Lanzhou in Gansu. Ticket costs from $40 per seat, to $140 per bearth in a four-bed cabin for one way. Flights services are there from Lhasa and most of the famous Chinese cities attached to Chengdu.
Visas and permit: China travel visas can be attained by tourist in their home country. Foreigners have to obtain a Tibet travel sanction in their home place or in China through travel agents. The permit procedure take at least 2 to 7 days.
Health matters: Oxygen mask is supplied while train journey but travelers are recommended to get their own required medications for headache, diarrhea and minor illness. Carrying some water and some heavy snacks items are good option. Smoking is totally banned in trains.
Electronics facilities in train: The train has many electrical power points; to charge mobile phones.
