Tucson Mountain Park



One of the most splendid saguaro forests in the world, Tucson Mountain Park, situated in Arizona, the city is stand astride on either side by the eastern and western parts of Saguaro National Park. It also has some adventurous hiking destinations like Sabino Canyon, in the north east of Santa Catalina Mountains.



Tucson Mountain Park has a 20,000 - acre of wide spread Sonoran Desert natural preserve which is located a few miles west of Tucson. Tucson Mountain Park’s most attractions are Horseback riding trails, bicycling, hiking/walking, picnic areas, target shooting range, archery range, overnight camping area, scenic views and wildlife views.



It has many beautiful spots to chill out, its Gilbert Ray Campground, in the west side of the Tucson Mountains gives many reasons to enjoy as it has centrally located water, picnic tables, modern rest rooms, and an R.V. dumping station.



Reservations are not accepted, entry for camping is on first come first serve basis fees are $10.00 per night for tents or nonelectric hookup sites or $20.00 per night for trailers or RVs. November to April is the best time to visit.
