After the terrorist scare in Britain, airport security systems have tightened up world wide. The Transportation Security administration has issued new policies regarding what to carry and what not to carry in your luggage.



The rules are especially made for the domestic airlines, although these rules are not made for permanent execution but for the time being these are strictly followed by the airport authorities.



The most of the fuss is with the medicinal products so it is very important for passenger to carry prescriptions along with medicines. For carrying the non-prescription medicines, take a note from doctor.



Items not allowed



1. Carrying beverages are complete no-no.



2. All other liquid and semi liquid products like gels, lotions, creams, ointment, deodorants, toothpaste and other toiletry liquids.



3. Food items like custard, yogurt pudding etc.



4. Asthma inhaler is allowed but no aerosols.



5. Baby toys with liquid gels insides are not allowed to carry.



Items allowed



1. All solid foods.



2. Baby food in containers.



3. Prescribed liquid and non-liquid medicines with prescriptions. That too up to 4 ounces’ worth. Also include contact-lens solution. The medicine for low blood pressure in liquid form then up to eight ounces is allowed.



4. Asthma inhalers, with your name label.



5. Solid forms of make-up.
