Summer travel to exotic places of different cultural mix can be a lot of fun. This summer try the Tuscany at Florence or Siena in Italy. As the picture above shows the mountains of Italy reveal themselves along with towering sky scrapers silhouetted by the setting sun.
But, Vorno at the foothills of Aquan alps takes you away from the hustle bustle of the Italian urban township. This is a great vacation getaway for those who want to travel the road less travelled.
What does Vorno offer to tourists?
* Located in Central Italy, this area offers some of the most ancient European architecture that is still preserved today.
* Tuscany is a great tourist spot but, it’s always crowded. But, don’t get disheartened. There’s always a new area to be discovered in and around Tuscany.
San Gimignano is Tuscany’s most visited city. It is located inbetween Florence and Sienna.
* The towers of San Gimignano are great vistas to the place and will remind you the fact that they were built for protection from the enemy. If you climb up the stairwell to the top of the tower, you might be greeted with great vistas.
* Check out the great Tuscany food which might be a delicious wild boar. If that doesn’t sound very appealing stop by a piaza and have some of the city’s best ice cream!
I think this is a great option. Although wild boar might not sound appealing, I would still try it out once.
* If you care for fine dining in an ancient restaurant, check out Le Vecchie Mura’s and you should be able to dine in. Along with this, you will be pampered with their excellent customer service.
* However, if all of these options are not that appealing to you, you can stop by one of the luxurious resorts of the area and enjoy a great time off. The Tuscany villa resorts are very welcoming to tourists and elegantly decorated.
So, if you are running out of options for a great vacation this summer, come on down to Italy. Enjoy some Italian pizza, great food, music and exotic locales of Tuscany. I am sure you will like it. Just a word of caution: this vacation might cost you 5000 -30,000 USD per week!
