Forbes Traveler has come out with wonderful hi-tech luggage slide-show, showcasing some hi-tech luggage. Some of them are really nice and you need to decide which one to choose.
Fido Luggage:
This is a wonderful luggage that will follow you like a dog. Can you just imagine people gaping when they see this baby following you around the airport? Peter Yeadon is the architect of this luggage which follows its owner via a wireless signal sent out from a watch-like device; it can also obey voice commands. There are no words on how it handles escalators.

Self-weighing Luggage:
This is something you will definitely appreciate. It is super useful. There is a small digital screen in the case and the screen reads the suitcase’s own weight.

Samsonite’s X’Lite Range:
Samsonite claims its X’Lite range is the lightest and strongest luggage it has ever created. ‘It’s very strong, it’s flexible and it’s very light.

It has some 75 patents for its engineering functions and design, uses a new woven polypropylene called ‘CURV.’ It’s non-toxic and totally recyclable, making it a candidate for the suitcase of choice among the carbon-offsetting jetset.

Carry Bike:
If you want great for quick escapes, go for this luggage. You can pull your luggage along on its smooth, rubber-tired wheels or zip around the departures lounge on a kid-style bike.
You have to shell $380 for this.

Transforming Suitcases:
It doubles as a chair for resting in the check-in line, another resembles a chest of drawers, and an attache-shaped case opens up to serve as a fluorescent light.
